Country Carnival

On Tuesday 30 January and Wednesday 31 January Hawthorn hosted the Country Carnival sectional play for Men’s Singles and Pairs. This was an extremely successful day with over 38 volunteers from Hawthorn. A huge thank you to Chris Mills (event manager), Bob Wadsworth (Umpire), Lachie Bowman (Bar), Colin and Sue Graves (grounds), Adam Strudwick & Nigel Ryan (greens) and Marilyn Gerlach (Food organiser) for ensuring that all of their helpers new what was required of them.

Our country friends enjoyed their day on the greens as well as the food that was prepared for them.
